Please be advised that due to the Green Waste Mulching activities happening next door at the Council Waste Transfer Station, the Windmill Hill Salvage & Save site has elected to close to the public for today (Wednesday the 22nd November). 

We value the wellbeing, health and safety of our staff and customers the utmost, and due to the unsafe nature of the dust and pollutant nuisance, and projectile waste being thrown as a result of the mulching activities, we cannot in good conscience accept any donations today, nor allow customers to potentially encounter unsafe substances or be potentially injured by flying objects at our Windmill Hill site.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience this is causing, we have heard all of your messages and feel your disappointment, but this situation is outside of our control. 

Windmill Hill will be returning to full operation, and happy to see items you have for donation, and accepting customers from tomorrow, Thursday the 23rdof November 2023.
