New Leadership at Mobo

June 05, 2023

Mobo Group has appointed a new CEO and Chairman to lead our organisation!

Andrew Wallace has been appointed CEO of Mobo Group and brings with him a wealth of experience, having worked in senior leadership roles within the disability and the not-for-profit sector.

Most recently, he was Executive Director of SA Group Enterprises at Minda Incorporated, where he led the multidisciplinary portfolio of commercial businesses, and social and disability enterprises.

“I’m pleased to join Mobo Group as it celebrates its 60 years of providing meaningful employment solutions for people living with a disability,” he said.

“I’m passionate about enabling people living with a disability to be the best they can be and look forward to continuing to create more opportunities and better outcomes for our supported employees, our partners and our communities.

“One of my key priorities is to ensure all staff, key stakeholders and the community are bought along the journey of positive employment options with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), open employment, for-purpose Social Enterprise models and the wider business community.”

Andrew commenced the role on Monday May 15, 2023.

It comes as Board member Robert Styling has been announced as the organisation’s new Chair after serving on Mobo Group’s board for 6 years.

“I’m delighted to welcome Andrew to Mobo Group. With his outstanding leadership skills and his innovative mindset, we believe he is an exceptional fit for the organisation,” said Mr Styling.

“We look forward to sustainably growing Mobo Group in line with changes in the disability and social sectors.”
