Hiya Everybody! I’m Sam and I’ve recently joined Mobo Group as a Marketing Assistant at the head office in Hindmarsh.

This is my first role where I’ve gotten to make use of my passion – copywriting, since finishing my bachelor’s degree last year! Every day I get to write stories about the incredible people who work at Mobo Group, and recently we’ve been overhauling the website, so once that goes live, a little bit of me will always exist with Mobo Group, I’ll be forever thankful for that.

Before Mobo Group, my working experience began in 2018 and included volunteering at Meals on Wheels and being bounced around between hospitality jobs at the behest of COVID-19 restrictions. In the meantime, I completed my bachelor’s degree and had been looking for an opportunity to work as a copywriter so I can follow my dreams!

After so many unsuccessful job interviews in the year since graduating, and the ongoing unpredictability of my employment status, Mobo Group finally came into the picture!

For my time spent at Mobo Group as a Copywriting Superstar, I hope I can help to build and maintain a variety of written content channels for their website and social media platforms and see an increase in the reach and followers of Mobo Group’s audiences. I’m excited to write content that will be seen by audiences and help show off the great things that Mobo does for the community!

The opportunity I have to work as a Marketing Assistant at Mobo Group has been life-changing for me and is a practical demonstration of how Mobo Group lives its mantra of creating More Opportunities and Better Outcomes for people living with a disability. I can’t wait to one day look back on my time at Mobo and say that I had at least some part in their success.
